For 02.02.2023 we invite you to a hybrid meeting. We start at 19:00 (CET) at the Chaotikum (Fackenburger Allee 11) and online. This event will be streamed (thanks to Chaotikum), the link will follow in the comments on event day.

We will be joined by the Rappoteur of the European Cyber Resilience Act, Mr. Maurizio Mensi. Therefore the talk will be held in english.

On 15 September 2022, the draft of the EU Cyber Resilience Act was published.
The goal of this legislation is to create a regulatory framework that makes software used in the European market more secure. The stated aim of this legislation is to contain the ever-increasing damage caused by cybersecurity attacks in the European Enion.

The draft proposes various measures that manufacturers of software with critical functionality must implement in order to obtain the coveted CE mark and be sold on the European market.

In this meeting we will present, explain and discuss key aspects of this regulation together with one of the authors of this legislation. Among others: What software is affected? What measures need to be implemented? How does your software gain the certification and the CE mark? When does the law apply? etc.

Am 15 September 2022 wurde der Entwurf des Cyber Resilience Acts der EU veröffentlicht.
Ziel dieser Gesetzgebung ist es einen regulatorischen Rahmen zu schaffen, der Software, die im europäischen Markt eingesetzt wird sicherer zu machen. Erklärtes Ziel dieser Gesetzgebung ist es die immer weiter wachsenden Schäden im europäischen Raum, die durch Cybersecurity-Angriffe erzeugt werden, einzudämmen.

In dem Entwurf werden verschiedene Massnahmen angedacht, die Hersteller von Software mit kritischer Funktionalität umsetzen müssen um das begehrte CE Zeichen zu erhalten und auf dem europäischen Markt verkauft zu werden.

In diesem Treffen werden wir einige Aspekte dieser Regulierung vorstellen, erläutern und diskutieren. Unter anderem: Welche Software ist davon betroffen? Welche Massnahmen müssen umgesetzt werden? Wie wird die Zertifizierung durchgeführt? Ab wann gilt das Gesetz? usw.
