[Vortrag] Rest to GraphQL

Frontend App APIs often get complex as the application grows. Often there are multiple round trips required to fetch data for a view. GraphQL is just a simple alternative with a rock solid type system. It represents a novel way of structuring the client-server contract.

The talk will explain how exactly GraphQL solves problems around shortcomings of REST and does it's magic. It will also be discussed how easy it is to get started with it, tooling around it and the wonderful developer experience it provides.

About our speaker:
Priyanka, for a short time, worked with C, then accidentally found her way into Web Devlopment world, and couldn't be happier flying in the whirlwind🌪 that is called JavaScript. She has been working as a frontend Dev👩🏻‍💻 for 2.5 years.
