What organisation designers and service designers can learn from each other
Details
Beautifully designed, broken when implemented?
Every service carries the fingerprint of the organisation behind it. How teams are set up, who decides, and who owns what all show up in the customer's experience. That's why a service can only work as well as the organisation that delivers it.
As service designers, we already look behind the scenes: blueprints show the backstage, the people and processes that make a service work. Organisation design takes us one layer deeper, into roles, decision rights, and ownership.
These are often the questions that decide whether a new service holds up in daily work.
Zsófia Takács has worked on both sides. She trained as an organisation designer (Native in Change, CODP) and as a service designer (MOME). With our host Kornél Csajtai, she'll share real cases, explore:
- How to read a service as a fingerprint of the organisation
- How to bring this view into your projects, by growing your own org design skills or by inviting an org designer onto the team
For service designers and the leaders who commission their work.
