Sunday Hike to Gindelalm (intermediate) 🌳☀️🌼🍺

Hello Everyone! 🌞

Come on and join us for a wonderful hike to the mountain hut Gindelalm on a sunny Sunday 🏡⛰️.

🗺️ Route:
We’ll meet in the charming town of Hausham, not even an hour from Munich by train. From there, we will start our hike to the mountain hut Gindelam, following tranquil woodland trails. At the hut, we will have a stunning view on the mountains and we can enjoy traditional Bavarian food and drinks for lunch 🥨🍺.

We will descend to the town of Schliersee, where we have the chance to get another ice cream and cool down at the lake. You can take the train back to Munich from Schliersee station. The level of the hike intermediate and takes around 5 hours in total. On the way, you you have the chance to learn about local animals, trees and flowers 🌳🌼.

📍 Meeting Point:
The train leaves at Munich main station at 09:02 AM in front of platform 33. You need to hop on the very first train part that heads to Schliersee (NOT Lenggries and NOT Tegernsee). Get off the train at Hausham (ETA 09:51 AM). I will not be on the train, since I life in Hausham. I will wait for you in front of Hausham station. Look for me in a sunflower-shirt to easily spot me. There are no toilets at Hausham station. Please use the toilets on the train.

👟 What to Bring:

• Hiking clothes & shoes 🥾/👟
• Sunglasses + sun cream + hat
• Hiking poles (optional)
• Some snacks and water 🍎
• € Cash for the mountain hut 🥨🍰🍻

❗ Please note:

• This is a guided event with hiking guide. Participants are still responsible for their own safety.
• Each person is responsible for purchasing their own train and bus ticket (the Deutschland-Ticket is recommended).
• Money will only be reimbursed if the tour is cancelled (e.g., due to bad weather).
