Speakers & Abstract:
Talk 1: Pia Nilsson is a former backend engineer, TDD enthusiast, domain driven design geek and passionate devopser and today I lead the Developer Experience organization at Spotify. The question that keeps me so excited about our work is: how can we enable 1 team to ship 1 product in 1 week?
Talk 2: GitOps in the DevOps universe - GitOps is a relatively young paradigm that can help deliver software as efficiently as possible. GitOps can be seamlessly integrated into DevOps processes and offers several advantages compared to pipeline-controlled deployments.
Sebastian Tiggelkamp is a DevOps Engineer at ConSol Software GmbH in Germany with a focus on CI/CD, GitOps and cloud computing.
Lightning Talk 3: Why do the best teams in the world ship faster than anyone else? Because they built their own Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) to make their developers self-serving. In his talk, Kaspar will explain why teams like Github, Google and Spotify built IDPs and what impact they have on their teams.
Kaspar von Grünberg, CEO at Humanitec. Kaspar is the founder of Humanitec. He has spent the last 10 years building and running software companies from retail-applications and door-to-door campaigning technology to monitoring and evaluation for NGOs.
