An explorative journey of GenAI in Conversational UX Design

We're thrilled to invite you to our upcoming meetup event, where we'll delve into the captivating world of Generative AI (GenAI) and its impact on our lives and work as UX designers.

We, Elisabeth and Anne, work as conversational UX Designers. We are used to designing interfaces that humans can talk or write to, and get answers to a question, turn on a lightbulb, or get from A to B. A big chunk of time is spent in our professional life convincing clients to build interfaces that can understand natural language, that adapt to contextual changes, and that answer depending on the situation with charm and finesse or concise clarity.

Then came ChatGPT and we were in awe. This is the conversational interface we dreamed of, the AI that is not just an "if - else" condition in a trench coat, but a generative system that knows everything on the internet and with which users can communicate naturally.

As with all new innovations though, one must take a step back and look under the hood: is GenAI the future of conversational interfaces or will it remain just a statistics machine whose output is correct only by stochastic chance? Let's take a look together!

Exploring how AI can transform various facets of our daily interactions as designers is an ongoing journey for us! At the event, we'll focus on these topics among others:
