Do you ever leave social gatherings feeling like your brain did all the talking?

If you’d rather discuss what truly drives you, rather than what you do for a living, you’re in the right place.

We’re hosting a night of meaningful connection through personal storytelling, inspired by the card game Icebreaker; with our own personal twist.

This event is an invitation to move into personal and meaningful conversations; the kind that leave you feeling seen. And because many of us live comfortably in our heads, we’ll also gently explore something different: noticing what’s happening in the body while we talk and listen.

⚖️ Our rules and values:

  • Your boundaries are key: As in any group of curious people, participants may ask you personal questions. Although we encourage sharing and we believe genuine connection is built on reciprocity, listen to yourself and only share what feels right for you
  • Listen and engage from a place of curiosity, and refrain from expressing judgement towards other participants
  • The freedom to be yourself: We value being genuine over being polished

👀 What type of questions to expect:
What piece of advice would you give your younger self?
When do you feel the most courageous? When was the last time you tried something for the first time?
Where do you find inspiration?

🚫 What this space is not:
Group therapy: as much as personal shares are welcome, please be aware that we are not trained therapists.
An extractive space: this is about mutual generosity; come ready to give, not just take.

Otherwise, come as you are. No prep needed, just bring your brain, heart, body, a little bit of honesty and maybe a small donation (if and as you’re able). Your contribution helps support our host the Münchner Freiwillige and helps cover Meetup subscription costs.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there! 🤗
