In this session, we’ll explore a selection of common pitfalls based on 100 Go Mistakes and How to Avoid Them. Instead of focusing on theory, we’ll look at real code examples that contain subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) bugs.

You’ll be invited to spot what’s wrong, predict the behaviour, and think through possible fixes before we break things down together.
What to expect:

• A curated set of common Go mistakes (e.g. around loops, slices, error handling, and concurrency)
• Short code snippets with interactive “what happens here?” moments
• Explanations of why these issues occur and how to avoid them in practice
