We are happy to be back after summer break with a very exciting blended topic!

Our first speaker Sandris Murins is a crypto startup builder, public speaker and adviser. He is a founder of Murins startup studio and has been a visiting lecturer on innovation and creativity in three leading universities in Latvia.

He will cover the topic of: "Future scenarios of Decentralized finance: AI and Blockchain convergence"
The presentation will cover four possible future scenarios for decentralized finance – (A) autonomous financial agents, (B) more effective blockchain protocols, (C) unicorn coins, (D) decentralised AI/ML powered robo advisors.
The scenarios will be constructed around two axis of uncertainty: (1) technological - blockchain convergence with AI or divergence (2) predisposition towards legal framework - global compliance vs innovative evasion. Each scenarios will be described with examples, use-cases, relevant geographies.

Our second guest will be Olga Ukolova, MD. She is a COO at Pandora Core and one of the creators of The FreeAI Manifesto. Having neuroscientific and biohacking background Olga has been involved in the development of brain-computer interfaces and new types of cognitive architectures for machine learning tasks at BICA Labs. For 2+ years Olga has been managing academic research teams and spent last 8+ years working with geeks, cypherpunks and development teams in order to bring censorship-resistant and decentralized post-humanity future.

Her topic will be: "Censorship-resistant AI: friend or foe?".
AI technologies have always been built in compliance with human norms, ethics and regulations. In this talk we will question this approach and describe alternative incentives of building AI tools.
