Summer Gymnastics in the Park

Do you want to improve your strength, flexibility, and core in a welcoming, accepting environment? Then Gymnastics in the Park is for you! Gymnastics in the Park is aimed at people of all ages and experience to improve flexibility, try new skills openly in a judgement free zone, and of course - to make new friends!

*Note: To adhere to Meetup's guidelines, please note that any children U18 present at an event must be supervised and accompanied by an adult guardian.

Please be assured that you are welcome regardless of whether you can already touch your toes or if you cannot even bend over to reach your knees! This class is tailored to you and your abilities as I am a firm believer of listening to your body and its limits.

My name is Ruby and I have been a passionate gymnast since 2007. Due to a spinal injury in 2012, I was forced to quit, which began my journey into safe coaching focusing on form, technique, and rehabilitation for my back. I was then able to rejoin a club from 2021 to 2022, where I also coached toddlers, children, and adults.

Gymnastics in the Park will begin in the Summer months of Hamburg, being May to July at Hamburg Stadtpark. The first event will be free, and donations to cover member fees (around 5€) will be appreciated. These fees will also be to fund some equipment I will bring to the events. Further depending on demand, there may be an opportunity to rent a gym hall so training can begin sooner!
