On Sensors

Hi Folks, perhaps you are already tired of my ARM Cortex talks so I will give you a break :-). Nick Alexeev, an expert in sensors and electronics, will be giving a talk on sensors. Here is the abstract:

An overview lecture on sensors. High level principles of sensing will be examined as well as a list of many physical parameters that are commonly sensed (from temperature to magnetic field) and the types of sensors that sense them. Follow-on lectures are possible, covering the related aspects, or particular groups of sensors in detail.
