Tango Young NRW is forwarding the event and inviting everyone to join:

"Dear Tango enthusiasts,
On May 5, 2025, we'll be starting the Tango am Kö-Bogen series again: we'll be dancing outdoors at this special location. DJ Jens-Ingo from Belgium will be playing the most beautiful tangos for us at the Kö-Bogen starting at 7 p.m. – right by the pond with a view of the Hofgarten and the Steigenberger Hotel opposite.
Location: Am Ueckernagel.
As usual, we (Tangoschule Düsseldorf Tango Team) are offering a free introduction for aspiring tango dancers / Practica for tango dancers beforehand (6-7 p.m.) – so feel free to come a little early!
We're looking forward to summer tango with a spectacularly good sound system (thanks Derek!), great music, and an outdoor dance floor (powdered dance floor) – so feel free to bring your own dancing shoes – you can really spin! 🙂 Stiletto heels won't pierce through the gaps under the dance floor anymore, and wider heels and flat shoes definitely work.
The Kö-Bogen tango series takes place four times between May and September, on the first Monday of each month on the following dates:
- May 5th with DJ Jens-Ingo Brodesser
- June 2nd with DJ Bomboncito Benedicte Beauloye
- July 7th with DJ Jens Dörr
- August 5th with DJ Bomboncito Benedicte Beauloye
- September 1st with DJ Jens-Ingo Bordesser

You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own drinks. There is no concession stand.
Bringing your own blankets/chairs is also welcome and encouraged, as always. You can also sit on the steps towards the Hofgarten, not far from the dance floor."
