New Year‘s Eve social for Expats & Locals

No plans for New Year’s Eve yet? Why not join our group of internationals for drinks, watch the fireworks while toasting to each other with self-catered Champagne and start the new year partying, likely in one of the bars of Alt-Sachsenhausen, tbd. Maybe you‘ve made new friends even before the new year has properly started.

This is an outdoor event with a host, we’ll spend 2 1/2 hours outside, the first venue is a place sheltered from wind and rain but still outside, so please dress warm enough, depending on the weather. Feel free to bring your own hot drinks and food, there are some stalls in the old town with food/drinks but they may be crowded. Sparkling wine for toasting at midnight is also up to you to bring. We‘ll head to the river to watch the (common people’s) fireworks around 23:30 and will greet 2026 at midnight.

This is the perfect Meetup if you’re new in town, keen to meet people from all over the world or Germans (who also join us a lot). Exchange new years resolutions, travel plans, new ideas and hints what’s there to do in Frankfurt, and practice your languages (main language is English, but German, Spanish, French, Italian and sometimes Russian, Mandarin and other languages can be practiced).
