Concerts/Dinner @Osthafenfest

Not on everyone‘s radar, as only happening every 2 years, is the Osthafen-festival in the East Harbour, with concerts, DJs and boat trips. Entrance is free. As a usual recommendation, bring cash as not all the stalls offer card payment.

Plan for this event: We meet near the entrance to the festival from the city side, in front of the first stage, and work our way towards the main stage. There will be time to grab food and drinks on the way. The tentative itinerary of concerts (but you can have your alternative program and only join for a part of it):

18:00 Gathering at Hafenbühne (location see map) to listen to concert of Munich-based Alternative Rock band Digital Carbs

18:40-19:10 We walk along the water front into the harbour and have a break for dinner/drinks, after the first DJ stage. Exact location tbc

19:30 After passing 3 zones between building blocks (Salsa, Techno, Kids area) we gather by the next live stage, HFM Bühne, to listen to Australian singer-songwriter Duncan Woods for a while

20:15 We proceed to the Main stage where the headliner of the Festival, German Pop Singer Kamrad, will perform (he sings in English :-). Exact location tbc. End of the concert around 21:30.

While this marks the end of the official Meetup, afterwards, depending on the weather, we can either position ourselves by the waterfront to watch the

22:00 illuminated boat parade (don’t expect an amazing show, it‘s just all kinds of different ships lining up in the harbour, not something you see every day, though).

Alternative: return to the HFM stage to watch a cover rock band, or head to one of the DJ areas to dance.
