Saturday evening excursion to Mainz wine festival

This will likely be our last bi-weekly outdoor event of the season. Let’s make it special by having wine in the beautiful city park of Mainz!

Since 86 years the event takes place in one of the unique and beautiful surroundings of Mainz, only around the weekends end-Aug and early September. This will also be the last joint event with the Wiesbaden Meetup group for this season.

Take the chance for a relaxing, romantic and beautiful wine evening with known and new friends around and socialise while having wines from different wineries welcoming you. And if you getting hungry there are plenty foods supplied in this area.

Prople from frankfurt can meet in the front car of S8 departing 5:47pm from Frankfurt main station, you can join us at any stop on the way or at mainz Römisches Theater station. We meet at the exit towards the park, i.e. not the one towards the city. If you would like to share a group ticket, please flag beforehand
There is wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks as well as different food options (limited, though, as we are in Germany 😝) In any case, please make sure to bring some cash! Return connection around 9pm, but can be decided flexibly.

This is the perfect Meetup if you’re new in town, keen to meet people from all over the world, or open-minded Germans. Exchange travel plans, new ideas and hints what’s there to do in Frankfurt, find new best friends and practice your languages (main language is English, but German, Spanish, French, Italian and sometimes Russian, Arabic, Mandarin and other languages can be practiced).
