Frankfurt Joy Ride - social cycling 🚴‍♀️

Craving wind on your face, green spaces, and a little more joy in your week? Join us for a countryside social cycle.

☀️What to expect?

Time: 10:30 am - 14:30

We're going to start off at Main Café, get to know each other, hop on our bikes, head along the river until we reach Kelsterbar. This will be our main stop. Once we've had a drink, maybe had a snack, we'll hop back on our bikes back to Main Café. We'll take a route through the forest to try avoid the summer heat.

At any point, please feel free to turn around or hop on a train home. This is a no pressure group. There is also a train station very close to our half way point (Kelsterbach Station) so it's pretty easy to head back into town from there.

The purpose is for this to be a relaxed ride out of the city to explore green paths, quiet corners, and open skies. Rides will be easy-paced and are focussed on connection. Whether that's chatting while we ride, pausing for a picnic, or simply sharing a peaceful moment.

We're about enjoying the journey, not racing to the destination. Expect a friendly group, plenty of space to chat, moments to pause and take it all in, and a shared appreciation for simple joys.

☀️ Who should join?
You don’t need to be a “serious cyclist” to come along—just bring a bike and an open spirit. This group is for:

• Friendly, curious people who enjoy being outdoors
• Anyone who feels more alive in nature
• Folks who value community over competition

☀️ What to bring?

• A working bike (city, gravel, vintage, e-bike – all welcome)
• Water and snacks
• Sun protection (hat/sunscreen)
• Curiosity and a good mood 😊

P.S This is a free event. Donations are welcome and they'll go towards covering the costs to have a meetup account. Anything we receive over and above that amount will be donated to charity ❤️

This is a friendly, informal group, so you ride at your own risk. Please make sure your bike’s in good shape and that you’re comfortable on the road. We’re not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or lost items but we’ll do our best to look out for each other along the way!
