TW hosts: Ethics and Technology - Why is it important?

Details
Join us for the first Ethical Tech and Humane Design Event in Berlin (https://meetup.com/Ethical-Technology/) where we explore trends in technology and their ethical, moral, and societal implications. Whether you are a designer, developer, business owner or consumer, these are the topics you need to hear in 2018.
For this event, we welcome three speakers: Cade Diehm, from Tactical Tech Collective, Yann Leretaille, from the Good Technology Collective, and Alexander Steinhart, from ThoughtWorks. Together we will introduce the topic, highlight some important aspects of the various fields and answer why it is important to talk about Ethics and Technology.
+++ Please RSVP here: https://meetup.com/Ethical-Technology/events/249951952/ +++
Yann, co-founder of the Good Technology Collective, a European think-tank on ethical technology, will elaborate on the need for ethics in tech and what good technology is.
Cade, the Project Lead at the Tactical Tech Collective will discuss 'Weaponised Design', a process that allows for harm towards users with a defined system. In this talk, Cade will present the present as a perfect opportunity to deconstruct and analyse the causes of weaponised design and design for better outcomes in the future.
Live-Stream - You can also join this event remotely from PC, Mac, Linux, iOS or Android: https://thoughtworks.zoom.us/j/419741994
We'd like to thank ThoughtWorks (https://thoughtworks.com) sponsoring this first meetup with the venue, drinks and documentation.
