Our book club’s political reading subgroup will be discussing The Fantasy and Necessity of Solidarity by Sarah Schulman.
In this powerful book, award-winning writer Sarah Schulman examines the often misunderstood concept of solidarity and offers a compelling vision of what it means and why it matters. In the current global climate when so many conflicts are unfolding, it can sometimes feel overwhelming or hopeless. It’s easy to feel like there is nothing we can do. We hope this book can open up space for reflection and conversation about solidarity, responsibility, and the ways people can act together.

This is an additional group within the book club; our regular reading selections and process will remain exactly the same.
