Der Mikrobiologe Paul Bálint feiert mit ehemaligen Kollegen in Paris seinen 80. Geburtstag. Er wird geehrt und spürt zugleich, dass die Feier auch ein Abschied ist. Er befindet sich, so sein Freund Steinberg, an der Schwelle zwischen dem „jungen Alter“ und dem „alten Alter“ – einer Phase, in der nichts mehr selbstverständlich ist und sich die Vergänglichkeit in allen Dingen bemerkbar macht. Doch statt sich nur mit dem Verlust zu beschäftigen, will Bálint die neue Lebensphase erkunden wie ein unbekanntes Land: Was bedeutet das Alter für den Körper, die Erinnerung, das Gefühl für das Selbst und die Zeit, für das Verhältnis zu den Mitmenschen, den lebenden wie den toten? Je mehr er sich mit dem Alter beschäftigt, desto deutlicher zeigt sich ihm ein Leben voller neuer Möglichkeiten. Unlike at most general adult ballet classes we will show you how exercise with the precision and focus, getting great results. A great class for those that are just starting with ballet, or those who are conscious about using their body precisely and targeting correct muscle groups in order to achieve greater results.
