Ezekre a kérdésekre ad majd választ két kutató a májusi Budapest Science Meetupon, a Freeszfe-n. **A 2026 tavaszi magyarországi aszályhelyzet** *Szabó Péter – ELTE TTK Meteorológiai Tanszék* **A genetikai ollón túl: prime editing, a génszerkesztés új generációja** *Biczók Zsuzsanna – TTK Molekuláris Élettudományi Intézet, Génregulációs Kutatócsoport* A gyakran genetikai ollóként is emlegetett CRISPR/Cas rendszer felfedezése forradalmasította génszerkesztés területét. A módszernek azonban megvannak a maga veszélyei, használatakor előfordulhatnak nem kívánt módosítások vagy akár nagyobb kromoszóma-átrendeződések is. Ennek kiküszöbölésére új, kifinomultabb CRISPR-alapú módszerek kerültek kifejlesztésre, amelyek közül az egyik legígéretesebb a prime editing.
