**IMPORTANT:** Due to construction at our previous meeting location which closed down the parking lot we've temporarily moved the starting location to **Brushy Creek Lake Park**. The relevant information has been updated to reflect this. Join us for our **recurring** scenic **6.6-mile (10.6-km)** evening at the Brushy Creek Regional Trail in Cedar Park! We’ll take a relaxed pace through one of the city’s most beautiful trails. The hike should take about **2 hours**. **ℹ️ Additional info** The purpose of this specific event is to have a recurring way for us to meet relatively easily. I want to make sure that recurring events are a "low effort" commitment, ie you don't have to drive 2 hours to get there. In the future once we have more organizers I plan to have more recurring events scheduled so we can cover a larger area. Also, you may have noticed that **this event has an RSVP limit**. This is done for multiple reasons. **April** meetup for DC512: **Monday**, April 6th, 2026 7pm-10pm @ **Celis Brewery Beer Garden** **Meetup Details:** -Attendees are welcome to present a firetalk (5-10 minutes) on a topic of their choosing. Sign-ups will be available prior to the firetalks portion of the meetup, see the organizers up by the stage in the Beer Garden to sign up. If you signed up for a talk at the last meetup and we weren't able to get to you, you will have priority this meetup. Those giving talks will receive an exclusive speakers-only DC512 sticker! Additionally, members who give 5 talks during 2026 will receive a custom challenge coin. NOTE: Giving a talk is optional and not a requirement.
