Singapore Founders & Builders Coffee — AI, SaaS & Tech
Singapore Founders & Builders Coffee — AI, SaaS & Tech
This is not a typical networking event. We’re bringing together a small, curated group of founders, CTOs, and builders working on real products — to talk about what they’re building, what’s starting to break, and what they’re figuring out. No presentations. No sales pitches. No noise. Just meaningful conversations with people who are actually building. A curated gathering of founders, CTOs, and builders working across AI, SaaS, and technology. No pitches. No panels. Just real conversations.
Beach Tennis in Singapore? Try it for yourself
Beach Tennis in Singapore? Try it for yourself
Most people in Singapore haven’t tried beach tennis yet — and honestly, that’s part of the appeal. It’s fast-paced like tennis, social like volleyball, and played barefoot on sand. You don’t need prior experience, and the learning curve is surprisingly quick. Beach tennis is big in Brazil, and it’s now starting to pick up in Singapore. Sessions are run by Pacific Beach Tennis Academy, which is Singapore's first dedicated beach tennis academy. If you’re looking to: – try a new sport without pressure – meet people in a more relaxed setting – or just switch things up from your usual workouts this might be worth checking out. Sessions are beginner-friendly, and all equipment is provided. If you’re keen or have any questions, feel free to message Luke at 8950 0295. You can learn more about Pacific Beach Tennis Academy here as well: Website: https://pbta.sg/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pbta.sg/

Nature walk with Singapore Democratic School
Nature walk with Singapore Democratic School
## Nature Walk with Singapore Democratic School Do you take an interest in topics such as 'self-directed education', 'unschooling', and a child-centric approach towards education? Then join us for a fun and family-friendly nature walk! During our walk, we will be discussing the book 'Free to Learn' by Professor Peter Gray. In the book, Peter Gray discusses how play is essential for children to become happier, more self-reliant, and better students for life. He argues in favour of self-directed education, which means that students get to decide what, when, and how to learn. We will meet outside the Botanic Gardens MRT, near the entrance to the Botanic Gardens. This walk is organised by Singapore Democratic School. You can learn more about the school here: [https://www.singaporedemocraticschool.sg/](https://www.singaporedemocraticschool.sg/) P.S. Didn't read Peter Gray's book yet? Humanist Program
Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk. Going forward our meetings will be hybrid.
