If you’ve ever wondered how to paint with watercolours but didn’t quite dare to start, this class is for you. **Begin the year with a relaxed and creative introduction to watercolour, specifically designed for beginners and curious creatives.** In this workshop, we’ll explore the essentials of watercolour painting: how water and pigment interact, how transparency works, and how to control (and enjoy) the unexpected effects that water can create. **We’ll practice wet-on-wet techniques, layering washes, creating soft textures, and playful effects using salt, splashes, and lifting colour**.
