Die *Women in Data Science (WiDS)* ist eine Initiative der Stanford University und seit 2015 eine globale Plattform mit regionalen Konferenzen auf der ganzen Welt. Die WiDS Dornbirn ist eine davon. Ziel ist es, Frauen in diesem Zukunftsfeld sichtbar zu machen und zu stärken. Die Vorträge werden daher ausschließlich von Frauen gehalten – die Konferenz ist jedoch bewusst offen für Teilnehmende aller Geschlechter und versteht sich **nicht als reines Frauennetzwerk**, **sondern als vielfältige Fachplattform rund um Datenanalytik**. Unser Ziel ist ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis von 50:50 bei den Teilnehmenden. Wir starten in Filzbach und laufen vorbei an Zeitzeugen aus römischer Zeit. Wir werfen einen Blick auf den höchsten Wasserfall Europas, der besonders im Frühjahr viel Wasser führt. In Obstalden besichtigen wir die sehenswerte Kirche aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und stehen plötzlich vor dem Grab der einzigen Schweizer Prinzessin. Weiter geht es - immer mit grossartigem Rundblick über den türkisfarbenen Walensee – durch ein Felsloch (aufrecht) und über eine Hängebrücke, langsam abwärts Richtung Murg, dem Endziel unserer Wanderung. Zwischendurch nehmen wir uns Zeit für Meditationsübungen. **Rundtischgespräch** Bist du bereit für ein Abenteuer als Seele? Ein Rundtischgespräch bietet dir die Möglichkeit, mit ungefähr zwölf Teilnehmenden das oben beschriebene Thema zu erkunden. Erzähle von deinen Erfahrungen, stelle Fragen oder höre einfach zu. Die Veranstaltung wird geleitet durch eine Person, die aktiv zuhört und allenfalls Fragen stellt. Die Erfahrungen der Teilnehmenden ermöglichen es, das Thema aus den verschiedensten Blickwinkeln zu beleuchten. We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily. I'll try to have signs outside Marian Hall that Identify our group. We hope to have you join us!

We’ll begin with a short grounding moment, followed by a brief reading from spiritual or philosophical traditions, and an open reflection circle where participants can share (or simply listen). Libera Animae is an interfaith community focused on inner growth, creativity, and authentic connection. All backgrounds are welcome.

Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 – 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process. Fast track • Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell). • Show up and try it out. • Complete application, etc. later. Normal process • Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/). • Attend orientation in advance. • At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility. • Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM. • Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895). The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014. Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.
