Offener Deutschunterricht - Text & Konversation - Niveau B2+ (Fortgeschritten)

“Do We Really Understand What We’re Building?” - Hands-on Example Mapping
“Do We Really Understand What We’re Building?” - Hands-on Example Mapping
Back in August, we explored how Design Thinking can help us uncover and validate the right problems. But even when we agree on what to build, things often go wrong, not because of bad solutions, but because we don’t fully understand what the problem actually means in practice. In this session, we’ll build on that idea and focus on the next step: turning vague ideas into something concrete, shared, and testable. Using Example Mapping - a lightweight technique from Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) - we’ll work in small groups to: * Break down a feature into rules, examples, and questions * Surface hidden assumptions and edge cases * Align on what the behaviour of a system should actually look like If the previous session was about finding the right problem, this one is about understanding it well enough to build it right. This is a hands-on workshop. Be prepared to participate fully and add to the energy of the room. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Neurodivergent Sharing Circle: People of Color
Neurodivergent Sharing Circle: People of Color
If you are navigating life with both being a person of color and being neurodivergent—this sharing circle is for you. **Details** 📅 Wednesday, 8th of April 2026 🕕 18:30 - 20:30 📍 Meeting Room in BIW\*oC Rising https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y6wTvMXV4rCUkgzP8 🎟️ Free but a donation for the space is highly appreciated. **Community disclaimer:** This circle is organized entirely by neurodivergent volunteers who contribute their time, energy, and resources to create this space. They deserve patience and kindness. **What happens here** * We gather. We share. We listen. * Stimming, fidgeting, moving around, stepping out for a break, is always welcome. * For this first event, we will try to open with a round of introductions. If you feel called to, you can share three words that represent your neurodivergent and BIPOC life. * There is no pressure to share if you can't think of any or would rather just pass. * After we hear the words, we can see what themes emerge and let the conversation flow from there. * The format of this event can be changed and discussed the further we go with this sharing circle. **This space is for you if:** * You're a person of color—Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, mixed-race, or any marginalized racial or ethnic identity. * You're neurodivergent—diagnosed, self-identified, questioning, or just know your brain works differently: ADHD, autistic, dyslexic, AuDHD, or any other neurotype. **Community Agreements** * **This is a space to heal, not to harm.** Experiencing racism is painful and real. That pain is welcome here. However, this is not a space to express sexist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, colorist, or any other discriminatory attitudes toward any person or group—regardless of their identity. We all carry wounds. But those wounds do not give us permission to wound others. * **Confidentiality:** What is shared in the circle stays in the circle. This helps us build trust. * **No Fixing:** This is a space for sharing experiences, not for giving unsolicited advice, diagnosing others, or trying to "fix" someone. We are here to witness and support, not to problem-solve. * **Content Warnings:** If you plan to share something that involves heavy topics like trauma, self-harm, or graphic discrimination, please give a brief warning before you start (e.g., "I'd like to share something about a difficult experience..."). This allows others to gently step out or prepare themselves. * **Respect the Space:** Please be mindful and respectful of the venue that hosts us. **About the Space Hosting Us** "BIWOC\* Rising is a Berlin-based intersectional organization for Black, Indigenous, and Women\* of Color, as well as trans, intersex, and non-binary people of color. It provides a safer workspace, socal club, networking opportunities, and its current project, EquiNet, which offers workshops and events to support members’ social, professional, and economic empowerment. The organization aims to build community, challenge systemic discrimination, and strengthen opportunities for marginalized groups through inclusive spaces." **Learn more about BIWOC\* Rising**: https://biwoc-rising.org/ **We can't wait to share space with you.**

These exhibitions, along with performances and talks, encourage interaction between artists and the local community. Instinct #20 | Workshop
**Instinct #20** \| Workshop with ***Lo Höckner*** for **LGBTQIA+** Free with **[registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/village-instinct-workshop/w15-2026)** **Beyond Overwhelm** is a somatic, collective workshop that links embodied practice to social change. Together, participants explore how capitalist working cultures shape our nervous systems toward chronic overwhelm and isolation—and how we can cultivate embodied resistance. **Beyond Overwhelm** relates to embodied learning circles with clear links to social change, aiming to practice together and empower their members to gain agency and take action. This workshop deliberately addresses the body and practicing together as a collective political practice, accessing the collective wisdom of a group. In this workshop, we are going to explore how working cultures under capitalism are creating a sense of overwhelm in our nervous systems, and furthermore, how we can cultivate embodied resistance. The session offers tools for coming out of overwhelm as a foundation for building relational strategies and counteracting individualization; exploring why this is necessary for political agency while refraiming activism. Through body-based practices, collective inquiry and imagination, this workshop gives space to explore the participant’s lived environment and how practices of connection, care and existing otherwise could be brought into it 🔵 **Beyond Overwhelm** ist ein somatischer, kollektiver Workshop, der verkörperte Praxis mit sozialem Wandel verbindet.

Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk. Going forward our meetings will be hybrid.
