The Winzersekt is even regarded as 'the wine world's best-kept secret'. With 13 wine regions of diverse climates and over 30 commercially significant white grapes, Germany is nowadays renowned for its top quality white wines from the venerated Riesling to other native and international varieties. Bring a bottle of German white wine (sparkling or still, dry to sweet) be it single varietal or blends, classical or unconventional, to our next blind tasting and we'll have fun tasting and identifying them. Learn about the two contradicting quality classifications and the latest trends in German wine making. Last but not least, what is a German Cremant anyway?! Together, we taste, analyse, discuss, and attempt to identify what’s in the glass. No expertise is required - Curiosity is enough.
