We are very happy to announce the 10th edition of TypeScript Berlin Meetup - once again, we will be able to meet onsite! 🎉😎🤗

Come join us for a cozy evening of quality talks, networking, and yummy snacks and drinks - veggie and vegan options provided. 🍹🌭

During this meetup, we will run an interactive quiz. Listen to the talks closely and answer the questions for a chance to win a signed copy of the "Learning TypeScript" book by Josh Goldberg! 🎁

We still have one open speaking slot for this meetup - get in touch with us via a Meetup message or at events@prisma.io if there is anything you'd like to share with our audience.

🎙 Talk 1: Ema Suriano - "Time for the framework-agnostic app has come?"

Ema will talk about [Astro.js](https://astro.build/), and why this is not just another JAMstack framework. Explaining the concept of island architecture, along with the possibility of using any framework within the same app (React, Angular, Vue, etc.), or nothing! This starter explains its capabilities.

Emanuel (Ema) is a Software Engineer working at Revolut, based in Berlin. He has been in the Open Source community for a while, maintaining and contributing to several projects. He likes sharing discoveries and learning with others in this Blog or local meetups. While he's not coding, you can find him spending endless hours in the kitchen trying new recipes!

🎙 Talk 2: Alex Ruheni - "Zero config end-to-end type safety"

TypeScript enables a better developer experience and increases confidence for developers when building applications. However, when data has to flow through the different layers of an application, from the database, through the API to the frontend, its safety guarantees get lost on the boundaries of each layer.
In this talk, we’ll discuss the idea of end-to-end type safety and look at its concrete implementation using Remix, Zod, and Prisma, and how it’s a joy to work with.

Alex is a Developer Advocate at Prisma, where he's working to make databases easy and fun. He loves learning and teaching other developers. Every once in a while, he procrastinates by preaching to other developers to adopt Ts. At best, he's also a mediocre photographer, but the camera covers that up for him.

🎙 Talk 3: Vitor Alencar - "Module-Federation: A game-changer in JavaScript architecture"

Module Federation is a new feature in Webpack 5 that allows you to dynamically load code from remote servers at runtime. This is a game-changer in JavaScript architecture, as it allows you to break your application into smaller pieces and load them on demand. In this talk, we will explore the new feature and how it can be used to create micro-frontends.

Vitor is an experienced and ambitious web developer and speaker, focused on new and scalable technologies, who loves sharing knowledge and cares about self-improvement. Enjoys talking in events and meetings about progressive web apps, functional programming and hybrid development. Thinks analytically and likes facing challenges.

🟢 choose the green sticker if you are happy to connect and chat with the other attendees,
🟡 choose the yellow sticker if you're open to joining the conversation but cautious,
🔴 choose the red sticker if you'd rather enjoy the meetup alone.

The talks will be recorded, and there will be a photographer onsite. Please let us know in advance if you do not want to appear in the photos.
