Relaxing moments near the mountains - the Alps, to be exact. Here is a land of green-velvet slopes and icy mists, ranging from the spa town of Aix Le Bain, the crystalline pure lake of Annecy, the “Venice of the Alps” Annecy with our grand finale at Mont Renard.

Join us for an unforgettable day out to the beautiful white sand Warnemunde Beach. You will hike along endless stretches of unspoilt white beaches framed by the baltic sea and ghostly forests, where you feel the refreshing sea breeze, and let the sound of crashing waves soothe your soul.

Experience the magic of lonely lighthouses that stand tall against the backdrop of the Baltic Sea. These iconic beacons of light have guided sailors for centuries and hold fascinating stories waiting to be discovered.

Whether you're a nature lover, an adventure seeker, or simply in need of a peaceful retreat, this beach day out has it all.

Start & End Date: Sun, 23 July

Starting time & location:

• Option A: Joining from Berlin - Meet in Berlin Central Station at 6:15 AM
• Option B: Joining from Hamburg - Meet in Hamburg Central Station (Hamburg Hbf) at 6:45 AM
• Option C: Joining from anywhere else - Meet in Nienhagen (Meckl) Mitte

Finishing time & location:

• Option A: Berlin Central Station at 9:15 PM
• Option B: Hamburg Train Station at 9:45 PM
• Option C: Warnemunde Train Station at 5:30 PM

Hiking Difficulty: Easy / Intermediate – hiking at relaxed pace with multiple break times on well-marked paths, minimal elevation, sure-footedness & good fitness required

Why Go?
Let’s discover Germany’s wild north! We hike along endless stretches of unspoilt beaches framed by the baltic sea and ghostly forests. Together we wander through a UNESCO heritage forest sitting on top of dramatic chalk cliffs that plunge into the emerald waters of the Baltic Sea.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS?
Jasmund National Park: Famous for containing Germany’s largest chalk cliffs & UNESCO heritage beech forest. Germany's smallest national park has formed an image of unspoilt wilderness. Here the largest contiguous beech forest in the Baltic Sea region is protected and in it an amazing variety of different habitats in a small space. More than 100 moors, lakes, springs and streams are framed by venerable beech forests.

White Chalk Cliffs: The glowing white rocks consist of 70 million year old chalk. Nature has piled them up from the skeletons of countless single-celled creatures that the Cretaceous sea once left there. The highest point of the chalk coast is the Königsstuhl, which towers 118 meters above the beach.

Sassnitz: Sassnitz is a resort town on the German island of Rügen. It’s home to the submarine HMS Otus, now a naval museum.

However, it’s unmistakably Italian in its culture, cuisine, and spirit. So, while you're surrounded by what looks like a scene from the Austrian Alps, you're actually indulging in authentic Italian pasta, espresso, and of course, the unpredictable flair of Italian driving!
The beauty of hiking in the Dolomites lies not only in the dramatic landscapes but also in the variety and richness of the trails. The routes are world-renowned for their breathtaking scenery, challenging terrain, and unforgettable moments. Each trail tells its own story—of geological wonder, alpine tradition, and natural magnificence.
In this journey, I will guide you through four of the most iconic and classic hiking routes in the region. These trails are not only celebrated for their beauty but also respected for the physical and mental challenge they present. While the hikes will certainly test our endurance at times, the rewards are beyond compare. Expect sweeping panoramic views, encounters with local wildlife, the calming sound of mountain streams, and moments of pure awe as the peaks tower above.
