TRIP DETAILS
Start & End Date: Thu, June 15 – Mon, June 19
Meeting location:
Podgorica Airport - Meet your local guide at 2:30 PM on Thursday. Alternatively, you can come directly to Žabljak, Montenegro by yourself.
Note: If you are arriving earlier or later, please us know so that we can accordingly make the relevant pickup arrangements.
Finishing Location:
Podgorica Airport - 02:00 PM on Monday.

Distance:
Day 0 (Thursday): <4 km - visiting Ostrog monastery (monastery carved into the rock) and arriving at our hotel in Žabljak.
Day 1:18 km - Hike to Savin Kuk. Depending on the weather conditions, a ski lift can be used for an uphill. In this case, we would also make a moderate hike towards the picturesque Viewpoint to Tara Canyon.
Day 2: 14 km - Hiking to Bobotov Kuk, the highest peak in the Durmitor mountains. Uphill and Downhill ≈ 800m, visiting the Đurđevića Tara Bridge.
Day 3: In the morning, we will go rafting and then drive to Kotor, where we would have a panoramic view of Kotor Bay and an evening city tour.

Day 4: Early breakfast, 2,5 hours boat trip on the Kotor Bay, and then traveling to Podgorica Airport
Difficulty: Intermediate/advanced – hiking at a relaxed pace on well-marked paths, moderate elevation, sure-footedness & good fitness required

How to get to Montenegro? - 2 flying options – Podgorica Airport and Tivat airport.
- Towards Žabljak we will drive together from Podgorica airport, but in case you would like to go earlier/later, please contact us for more information.
WHAT IS THE PLAN?
- Day 0- Meet & Greet: Arrive at Podgorica airport, meet your guide for this trip and then drive together to accommodation in Žabljak, where we would stay 3 nights. Along the trip we will visit the amazing Ostrog monastery for 1-2 hours.
- Day 1- Hike to Savin Kuk: Through the ski resort Savin Kuk we will climb the peak of the same name. Those who wish can use the services of a lift. In total, on this day we will cover 16 km in 6-8 hours.
- Day 2- Hike to Bobotov Kuk: Trekking in Montenegro continues, and today we have the most difficult peak. This is the highest mountain of Durmitor - Bobotov Kuk (2523 m).
- Day 3– In the morning we will drive to the rafting camp and raft for around 2-3 hours. At a length of about 18km, more than 20 different cascades spread one after another. Trained skippers with many years of experience from the first rafting company in Montenegro will take care of your safety at all times, leaving no chance for you to be worried.
- Day 4– After checkout at 8, we would have a 2,5-hour Kotor Boat Tour, where we would see the island called Our Lady of the Rocks, the church on it, visit the Perast old town and then drive to Podgorica airport.
