About the Talk - Beyond the interfaces: How UX can make brand experiences future-proof
What is left of a brand when there is no interface — only a decision, a response, a single human experience? In an era where AI-driven systems increasingly shape how brands act, react and communicate, UX becomes the place where meaning is created.
When screens fade, a brand is recognised in a single moment: how it responds, how it sounds, what it stands for. Our opening impulse explores the responsibility of UX in moments where no interface explains and behaviour becomes the brand. We share key stances that guide responsible brand experience design, showing how clarity, reliability and human-led boundaries shape the moments in which brands are truly felt.
In this session, we’ll explore:
- how clear options, understandable actions, and responsible constraints build trust and support better decisions
- how consistent behaviour across systems and touchpoints shapes brand perception
- how brands stay recognisable beyond the UI, when the experience itself becomes the message
About the Speaker:
Sigrid Albrecht, Director of UX Strategy, KMS TEAM
Sigrid joined KMS TEAM in 2021. As Director of UX Strategy, she is responsible for analysing, evaluating and developing user- and brand-centric UX/UI solutions that are tailored to the product and brand strategy of each company. Her philosophy is:
> “The user and their needs are always at the center of my work. To me, the true art of digital solutions lies in ensuring they are in harmony with the brand and the company.”
In the strategic development of visual identities, Sigrid seeks out unique solutions that meet the digital needs of users and customers. She identifies potential future opportunities and provides recommendations for revisions and improvements in later phases. Her portfolio includes clients from a wide range of industries, from automotive and lifestyle to insurance.
Sigrid holds an M.A. in Creative Direction from the University of Applied Sciences Pforzheim.
Christine Kleitsch, Senior UX Strategist, KMS TEAM
Christine brings together analytical thinking, storytelling and a holistic customer-journey perspective to create digital experiences with real value. Her focus: ensuring that every touchpoint supports both brand and user needs.
> “When brand and user needs align across the entire journey, trust is built,” she is convinced.
Before joining KMS TEAM in 2024, she has shaped digital experiences across industries such as automotive, healthcare and e-commerce, translating complex requirements into clear, intuitive solutions.
Christine holds an M.A. in International Literature and an M.A. in Ethics of Textual Cultures from the University of Augsburg — an academic background that sharpens her ability to understand how people interact with meaning, narratives and technology.

About the Talk - The Human Side of Digital: Designing for Emotions, Patterns & AI Experiences (AX)
As designers, we’re the quiet architects of the internet: shaping behaviour, influencing decisions, and triggering emotions one click at a time. Psychology and cognitive science give us powerful tools to build intuitive and emotionally resonant experiences — but they also come with responsibility.
Today, empathy in design goes far beyond “adding delight.” Real impact comes from designing for the full spectrum of human emotions — especially in sensitive industries like fintech and healthcare, where every interaction involves real money, real vulnerability, and real human stakes.
In this session, we’ll explore:
How emotional design really works, and how to use it meaningfully
The positive side of emotional UX and its business impact
Where emotional design crosses into manipulation and dark patterns
Why care matters more than clicks, especially in fintech & healthcare
About the Speakers:
Priyal is a UX Researcher & Designer who believes in the power of storytelling to transform design. She’s passionate about turning human insights into meaningful product experiences and turning complex data into narratives that even the toughest stakeholder can feel. A business graduate with 6+ years in product roles, Priyal uses a research-first, empathy-led design approach rooted in psychology and real-world user needs. Her career spans from UX roles in BCG working in fintech, and healthcare, designing business aligned digital experiences and making them not just usable or delightful but human.
