we are village is a Berlin-based queer community center. A space to gather, discover, create, and simply be. we are village is launching e*xtend, a digital extension of Stretch Festival for queer people everywhere.

Join us for a day of creative, somatic, and reflective experiences that build community online.
🌈 e*xtend welcomes queer LGBTQIA+ people who feel drawn to exploring their body, creativity, and inner queer spirit through shared practice and connection with others.🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Program
The program offers two virtual meeting rooms for you to connect:
First, a CONNECTION Room where you can join group games, thought-provoking conversations, and one-to-one pairings that spark meaningful dialogue. Here you can connect with your people and build community regardless of physical distance.
Second, a CREATION Room featuring workshops run by facilitators from the we are village community, many of whom are also present at Stretch Festival. The workshops will be a mix of embodied practice, creative, and discussion-based and experimental sessions.
We will have lunch together online, and we will begin and end the day with queer ceremony: grounding, intention-setting, and gentle integration.

Sample workshops:
Write for Life, Write for Self with Todd Barrowclough
A reflective writing journey to explore your story through creativity and culture. The workshop is taught in English, but you can write in any language you like.
Naked Yoga with Merdan Akbayir
A nude yoga class to explore fragility and vulnerability in a safe space. It’s not about eroticism: all parts of our bodies are equally acknowledged as being part of our lives.
Dancing Little Mermaid with Jorge Rodolfo De Hoyos Jr
A fun dance class to loosen those joints and get your body limber! No experience needed, just come as you are, dance like you’re home alone, and get juicy, open, and activated.

e*xtend ist ein digitaler Begegnungsraum für queere Menschen, die nach Gemeinschaft, kreativer Verbindung und verkörperten Praktiken suchen. Egal, wo auf der Welt du dich befindest: e*xtend lädt dich ein, ganz du selbst zu sein und dich in einer angeleiteten Erfahrung auf echte, bedeutungsvolle Verbindung einzulassen – mit einem virtuellen „Connection Room“ und kreativen Workshops.

Programm
Das Programm bietet zwei virtuelle Begegnungsräume, die echte Verbindung ermöglichen:
Der CONNECTION Room
Hier kannst du an Gruppenspielen teilnehmen, dich auf anregende Gespräche einlassen und in 1-zu-1-Begegnungen andere queere Menschen kennenlernen. Ein Ort, um deine Leute zu finden und Gemeinschaft zu erleben – unabhängig von räumlicher Distanz.
Der CREATION Room
In diesem Raum finden Workshops statt, die von Facilitator*innen aus der we are village Community geleitet werden – viele von ihnen kennst du vielleicht schon vom Stretch Festival. Die Workshops verbinden verkörperte Praxis, Kreativität sowie diskussionsbasierte und experimentelle Formate.

Write for Life, Write for Self – mit Todd Barrowclough
Eine reflektierende Schreibreise, um deine eigene Geschichte durch Kreativität und Kultur zu erkunden. Der Workshop findet auf Englisch statt, du kannst aber in jeder Sprache schreiben, die sich für dich richtig anfühlt.
Naked Yoga – mit Merdan Akbayir
Eine Yoga-Session ohne Kleidung, um Fragilität und Verletzlichkeit in einem sicheren Raum zu erforschen. Es geht nicht um Erotik – alle Teile unseres Körpers werden gleichermaßen als Teil unseres Lebens anerkannt.

Ein spielerischer Tanzworkshop, um die Gelenke zu lockern und den Körper in Bewegung zu bringen. Keine Vorkenntnisse nötig – komm einfach, wie du bist, tanze, als wärst du allein zu Hause, und spüre dich selbst: offen, lebendig und aktiviert.
