The Easy Way to Create IntelliJ Plugins

Hello, fellow Kotliners!

It's time for our next virtual get-together. This time Dmitry Kandalov will give us his talk "The Easy Way to Create IntelliJ Plugins".

Here is the abstract:
The ability to add or change program functionality at runtime is not a new thing, but it’s surprisingly missing from most software development environments. This is a shame because it’s way easier than most developers think and there are many low-hanging fruits to pick up in terms of tools integration and productivity gains. In this session, you will learn how to extend IntelliJ IDEs functionality at runtime using Kotlin and LivePlugin. In particular, you will learn API basics for plugin development, how to create actions and modify text/code.

About the speaker:
Dmitry has been programming since DOS times. He spent the last 15 years or so in Java lands, most recently working with server-side Kotlin.
