Every week we try to explore a corner of Munich/Bavaria with different activities.

None of the events are professional and we welcome people from all levels.

You can bring your pets to the events, and we will be glad to see them among us.

If there are places/activities you like, please do not hesitate to send a message. We would be happy to try them too.

Soundwalk in Harlaching

Join us for a guided soundwalk through the Harlaching neighborhood.

Have you ever wanted to experience your own neighborhood in a completely different way — or discover new parts of Munich?
On this short walk, we’ll explore the soundscapes of Neuperlach’s green spaces. At several stops, we’ll pause, listen, and share impressions through a questionnaire.

The soundwalk is organized by the LMU as part of the Citysoundscapes research project, which investigates how urban sounds, biodiversity, and human well-being are connected. By taking part, you’ll help us gain new insights into how green spaces can be designed to support both people and nature.

Good to know:
- Participation is free of charge.
- The walk will last about 1 hour.
- English and German speakers are welcome.

Bi-Weekly GEB "Cafminar" with piano music

In order to decode the Strange Loop that is Gödel, Escher, Bach, we need to assemble a sufficiently suspicious number of culprits.
Our plan: read one chapter every other week, and gather in a cozy café to spiral into discussions about fugues, formal systems, paradoxes, and ant colonies pretending to be selves. The goal? To make it all the way through this 700+ page labyrinth of logic, art, and music—together.
If you’ve already danced with the tortoise and Achilles before, join us for a few chapters and share your insights. If you haven’t read the book yet, consider this your call to adventure (or your Hofstadterian push) to finally begin.
Bring your thoughts, your questions, and your sense of humor—we’ll need all three.
See you soon, somewhere between Chapter 1 and the infinite regress of meta-reflection!
