This Saturday (21.02.), we’re hiking one of the beautiful Wisper Trails starting in Lorch (Hessen).

🌿 Highlights of the hike
• Scenic Wisper Lake
• Rugged rocky ridges with fantastic views
• Adventurous trail sections
• Deeply carved valleys
• Stunning panorama at the Nollig Nature Reserve

• Duration: approx. 6.5 hours
• Distance: ~20 km
• Elevation gain: +670 m
• Elevation loss: –995 m

🚂 Getting There
We’ll take the train from:
• Mainz-Kastel (not Mainz Hbf) at 09:19 AM, Platform 1
→ Travel time: 56 minutes
The same train also departs from:
• Frankfurt Hbf at 08:54 AM, Platform 23
• Wiesbaden Hbf at 09:28 AM, Platform 1

🎒 What to Bring
• Good fitness level for a 20 km hike
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Proper hiking shoes (no flip-flops)
• Food and at least 2 liters of water (we likely won’t stop at a restaurant)
• Some cash in case we grab a drink afterwards
• Power bank and flashlight (if available) 🔦
