December 2013 meetup - "CoffeeScript" by Tim and "Offline first" by Ola

Hey folks,
we like to invite you to our monthly meetup at the trivago tower in Düsseldorf.
In December, we got two (!) awesome talks:
Tim Glabisch (@timglabisch (https://twitter.com/timglabisch)) will present "CoffeeScript (http://coffeescript.org/)", a programming language that transcompiles to JavaScript.
CoffeeScript is a little language that compiles into JavaScript. Underneath that awkward Java-esque patina, JavaScript has always had a gorgeous heart. CoffeeScript is an attempt to expose the good parts of JavaScript in a simple way.
Ola Gasidlo (@misprintedtype (https://twitter.com/misprintedtype)) will present the "Offline first" concept.
We got more and more devices. And every device needs a internet connection. But is this really necessary? Can we build applications who do not need to talk to the internet every second? The "Offline first" concept is (maybe) the answer ;)
Start is at 7pm.
