Exploring Wannsee: A Laid-Back Sightseeing and Nature Walk

Details
Wannsee is one of Berlin’s most scenic and historically significant districts. It’s a fantastic place to visit, whether you’re into nature, history, or just a relaxing escape from the city. We will have a 10 km walk there, first in the Düppler forest and then along the Wannsee, enjoying views of the biggest beach in Berlin and Pfaueninsel Island.
Sightseeings on our way:
- House of Wannsee Conference - lakeside villa where Nazis planned the annihilation of European Jewry, now a memorial museum ( the entrance is free)
- Lieberman villa - the summer hous of Max Liebermann, German painter and graphic artist which you can also visit (visiting is optional, entrance - 10 euros)
- Lion monument (Flensburger Löwe) - bronze lion sculpture, erected in 1862 in Flensburg, commemorating Denmark’s victory in the First Schleswig War.
We will meet near S-Bahnhof Wannsee at 12.30 (I will provide the exact meeting point in our WhatsApp group after you pay organising fee)
Organisation fee is 5 euro (PayPal habibuscha@gmail.com). If you want to make bank transfer, please write to the host.
You can cancel with full refund until 21th of March!
Full refund if the event is cancelled.
