Meet the Winemaker: Alessandro Pialli Tasting (Italy, Veneto region)
Friday, June 6 | 18:00 - 21:00
Alessandro Pialli is a third-generation winemaker from Barbarano Mossano in the Colli Berici, Veneto. Since 2001, he has led his family's estate, Azienda Agricola Pialli, focusing on organic winemaking.
Pialli specializes in two autochthonous grape varieties: Tai Rosso and Garganega. Garganega is used to craft both fresh white wines and skin-contact orange wines. Tai Rosso has developed a unique character in the Colli Berici region, producing wines with thick skins, high acidity, and pale color.
Alessandro's winemaking approach emphasizes minimal intervention: manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts, spontaneous fermentation. His dedication to sustainable practices and commitment to expressing the unique terroir of the Colli Berici make his wines a distinctive representation of the region's viticultural heritage.
The estate's vineyards span approximately 4.5 hectares, yielding between 13,000 and 20,000 bottles annually, depending on the vintage.
On June 6th, we’ll taste 7 incredible wines, dive deep into the winemaker’s philosophy, and get answers to all the questions we've been eager to ask. 🍷
We also offer a 10% discount on all the wines purchased this evening.
