Responsible Tech - from Purpose to Practise
Details
Thoughtworks is partnering with moinworld to increase the number of women in technology and motivate girls for tech careers.
We want to discuss how we can use technology to reshape our world in a good way.
This Meetup is the opportunity to learn about Responsible tech and how we can think beyond our immediate product goals.
Technology is reshaping our world. Technologists have the power to help prevent devastating impacts on identity, health, business, political systems and social cohesion, simply by applying ethical thinking and the right methods.
How can we anticipate the consequences and mitigate any harms of our products?
Given what we are seeing out there in the world it is time to think a little bit more deeply about what we are building as good intentions are no longer enough.
Ultimately it’ll be better for us and better for the organisations we work for.
