Are your procrastinating on your writing? Do you have creative dreams and ambitions you're just not getting to? Well same! You're not alone, and some external accountability / body doubling can go a long way.
I'm an aspiring writer who procrastinates constantly, and I'm sick of it! So once or twice a week I'll pick a place and time to sit down and get some writing done. If you're a writer or artist who could use some accountability, then come join us! Open to any and all. No experience or qualifications necessary whatsoever. You don't even need to be working on art! You just need the desire to not procrastinate, together.
***Group Update***
As of December 2024 I, Jackson, have gotten a new job and am taking a temporary break from hosting events while I adjust to a radically different schedule. In addition, when I do return I will have to host events at much different times than our usual midday meetups.
Still, I pay the dues for this group and it might as well keep helping the community! If anyone is interested in hosting their own writers group meetups in the Charlotte area, you are so welcome to do that. You too can use this group as a platform to bring writers together for external accountability! Just shoot me a message and we can talk about it.
