Eid Mubarak!
As we wrap up the blessed days of Dhul Hijja, let’s come together to extend the spirit of Eid al-Adha. Join us for a relaxed afternoon in a park (or a cozy indoor spot if the weather disagrees) to share, reflect, and—most importantly—eat!
This event is open to everyone, whether you are a Muslim wanting to share your traditions or a non-Muslim friend who is simply interested to learn about it.
What to expect:

  • Reflection & Dialogue: We will discuss the significance of the Days of Hajj and Eid al-Adha. We would love to hear your experiences. We also invite you to share how your specific culture celebrates Eid—whether it’s a unique family tradition or simply what the holiday means to you personally.
  • Cultural Potluck: Food is the language of love! We invite every participant to bring a small dish that reflects their native culture or a delicacy typically prepared for Eid in their family. This is a chance to travel the world through taste right here in Hamburg.
  • Relaxed Atmosphere: No lectures, no debates—just good conversation, mutual respect, and community building.
