Über uns
"Agile Munich" is formed as a public, independent community of practice for agile practitioners to meet, exchange experiences, evangelise, learn, and network. As such, it's also a user group registered with Agile Alliance and endorsed by Scrum Alliance.
Whether you are an agile coach or an agile enthusiast exploring how to introduce formal agile practices into your organisation, or simply interested to learn about agile or lean we'd like to encourage you to join the community.
The group covers everything Agile! This includes, but not limited to Scrum, Lean, Agile Engineering**, DevOps**, agile scaling (and related frameworks), Agile Leadership, Business Agility, Agile HR, OKRs and more.
We aim to organise regular monthly events in Munich. We'll try to diversify the topics addressing both advanced themes as well as a track to introduce more fundamental topics. The official language of the group and our events is English.
Do reach out to me if you are interested in helping out, presenting, or otherwise have any suggestions. And don't forget to spread the word in your network.
Want to propose a session? We'd love to hear from you. Let us know what's on your mind via: http://cfp.agilemunich.org/
Looking forward to meeting you in the next meetup.
Our tiny community policy:
Community leads and organisers, speakers and sponsors work on a voluntary basis and make a huge investment to bring this event FREE to you. We only ask and expect you to cancel your attendance latest by 48 hours before the event in case your plans to attend change. This is needed to allow others on the waiting list to join and to avoid waste. We take no-shows seriously and will take the liberty to cancel your membership or reject your attendance at future events in case of no-shows. Thanks for your understanding and helping us keep Agile Munich a free and thriving community.

Thoughts on (Modern?) Software Development
Observations From a 20-Year Journey
“If someone is taking a journey, he (or she) can tell a story. Therefore, I would take my staff and hat and would choose to travel.” (Matthias Claudius, 1740-1815)
The present talk was designed with exactly this, a 1000-times-heard (and slightly updated) German proverb in the back of the head. Initially created for a student audience (“From Education to Employment: A Requirements-Set for Modern Software Developers”), it outlines what the presenter identified as relevant for a productive survival in the software development business (aka “the wild”). Category: “Possibly not so new - but subjectively noteworthy.”
So, have you ever wondered why we, as a whole community of experts, so often struggle to tame the beast called software development? The “Thoughts on (Modern?) Software Development” talk presents some possible answers to the question of why our ongoing fight is - and will very likely remain - a tough one.45 Teilnehmer
