Day Trip to Speyer (10.05.2026)

Hello everyone!

Have you always wanted to visit the World Heritage Sites (WHS) in Speyer, but haven't yet had the chance? Join us this Sunday 10th May 2026 and share the experience of a day trip from Stuttgart to Speyer. The goal is to visit the Speyer Cathedral as well as the ShUM site in the Judenhof.

We will meet at the Stuttgart HBF at 10:30 so we can take the 10:59 train and arrive in Speyer by 12:46 (as per the DB Navigator app). Once there we'll reciprocally introduce ourselves, board the train in time, and start our day trip.

Once we arrive in Speyer before 13:00, we will probably take the local bus from the Speyer Hbf directly to the Speyerer Dom (Speyer Cathedral) and spend some time exploring the monument. Once we have seen this site, we will proceed on foot to visit the Jewish Courtyard WHS (ShUM site at the Judenhof) which is walking distance from the Cathedral. If there is time, after viewing both the sites, we will stop for a coffee/ice-cream or snack at a local cafe before heading back to Stuttgart around 17:00.

All "around Stuttgart together" events are open to anyone and organized simply to promote well-being, cultural exchange, socializing, and exploring the region together. This day trip is free of charge to attend, but may require a small fee to enter the WHS sites in question (approx. EUR 5 or so) which should be paid at the various collection point for the site(s) in question.

We do our best to offer a safe and pleasant experience, but participation is at your own risk. Please be responsible for your personal safety and well-being.

• What to bring
Comfortable shoes, water, snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing. Most importantly: bring a smile and an open, respectful, friendly mindset.
