This is official page for Badminton in Vienna (intermediate-level or higher) group on meet-up.
Unlike other badminton groups, we’re specifically for players with intermediate or higher badminton skills 🏸
But we also keep the door opened for events that accept all badminton levels. Please read the title and the description of each event very well before signing up.
For intermediate-level and above,
we have meetings every Thursday (18-20h) and Sunday (11-13h) at the moment.
For all levels event, we will be offering a weekly event every Saturday (In corporation with
Sportunion Vienna Badminton Community)
Our definition of intermediate-level: someone who's familiar with the rules of the game and mastered the basic techniques to a good level to play a match
(you don't need to be professional player 😉)
Our playing style: Mostly playing in double.
Our goal: To exercise and have fun together, and to have the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends at the same time.
The shuttles we use: Mavis 2000/Yonex/ Yellow color (one of the best quality in the market) and it's included in the event fee.
Once we have more organizers in this group, they might choose to use a different kind of shuttles, but of course you will see this in the event description.
Our cancelation policy:
1- canceling 24-hour before the event = free cancelation
2- cancelation after the 24-hour deadline = we will ask you kindly to pay the event fee.
The policy always applies, even if there are other people that will take your spot or not.
