We're back after the summer with another session, and again with our special guest Shahar, who this time points the FinOps lens at AI spend.
Blocks is hosting us again in Charlottenburg and will provide drinks and snacks, and as usual there will be plenty of time afterwards to catch up with the rest of the Berlin FinOps community.

- 19:15 - Talk: Nobody Wants to Ask If the AI Is Working
Most leadership teams have not asked out loud whether their AI investment is actually working, because in a year when nobody wants to be the person slowing AI down, the question is uncomfortable to raise. FinOps has answered a question of this shape before, and did it without approval gates, but the cloud playbook does not transfer intact: cloud governance assumed a few hundred engineers who understood what they were provisioning, while AI is consumed by everyone, in a currency almost none of them can price. FinOps also measures cost and efficiency, not adoption and not value, which is exactly where the question lives. This session covers what is missing, and the claim FinOps is entitled to make.
Speaker: Shahar Raz, Raz Tech Strategy. Shahar spent thirty years in technology, including as a CTO and in executive management, and now advises CFOs, CTOs and COOs independently, with nothing to sell them but the answer.
