Über uns
🌟**Welcome to the Berlin Neurodivergent Community.**🧠
🌈 This is a Neurodivergent community created by Neurodivergent people in Berlin. We welcome individuals who identify as neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, OCD, Sensory Processing Sensitivity/HSP, Tourettes, Intellectual Disabilities, Auditory Processing, Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and so on), whether clinically diagnosed or self-identifying.
🤝Our gatherings focus on making friends, having fun, and together creating activities that can be empowering. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying will not be tolerated. 🤗
🤝 This community is fully run by neurodivergent volunteers who dedicate their time, energy, and resources to make it happen. Please be kind, share the space mindfully, and take accountability for your actions. We are all neurodivergent individuals with diverse backgrounds, unique experiences, different journeys in knowledge, and various intersectional challenges.🌌
All our events are free, supported by volunteers. Donations are greatly appreciated to help us fund future events! Donation Link: Ko-fi
🗣️ We also have a whatsapp community that welcomes anyone who have attended any offline event and are willing to join.
We have an Instagram account, feel free to follow @berlin_neurodivergent
🛤️ Once again, welcome and enjoy the journey!

🧡 This is a Neurodivergent meetup created by and for Neurodivergent people (ADHD, Autism, OCD, Sensory Processing Sensitivity/HSP, and so on), whether clinically diagnosed or self-identified.
💗 The goal of this event is for Berlin Neurodivergent people to meet, share, connect and have a pleasant time together.
This particular event is all about sharing and connecting on our neurodivergent journeys. Whether you're questioning, just starting out or have been navigating this path for years, everyone is welcome.
🧡 DISCLAIMER:
- This event is not a workshop, and the organizers are not here to provide education on neurodivergence.
- The organizers are all neurodivergent volunteers! Help us in keeping the event welcoming. Be kind and patient to us, lend a hand if you can, and help us tidy up.
- Note that we are in public space, so not all sensory distractions are avoidable. We ask for your own discernment for participating.
💚 What to expect:
- Participants will be given name stickers.
- If you choose not to speak during event, draw a neurodivergent symbol instead of your name on the sticker.
- Participants will be divided to smaller groups (max 6 people), so everyone can have a chance to talk and feel included.
- Feel free to rotate to other groups. The organizers will assist you.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their sensory management tools (ear plugs, sunglasses, etc).
- Please be mindful to other people's personal space.
- Participate as much as you feel comfortable of. Feel free to: not speak (you just need people's company), take a break when you feel overwhelmed), etc.
- Express your boundaries in kindly manner to give everyone the chance to be aware of their actions.
- Ask first before you touch other people’s belongings
We’re excited to meet your lovely faces in person!

So we can be self-accountable for our own comfort.Location: Werkräume inside Humboldt Forum https://maps.app.goo.gl/Jw5totHbQadfsJsE8
The exact area of Werkräume where we cowork will be updated in the pinned comment on the event page, as it is a public space and we cannot reserve a specific spot.
How to find Werkräume:
- Go to the Main Building.
- If you are starting from the Front Desk:
Find the large escalator on your RIGHT behind the front desk. Go up to the 1st floor (one level above ground floor). - If you are starting from the Humboldt Bistro: go to the main building. Find the escalator on your LEFT and go up to the 1st floor (one level above ground floor).
- Final Destination: On the 1st floor, look for the Werkräume sign.
- NOTE: ask the staffs where the Werkräume is instead of the neurodivergent co-working.
What to expect:
- We usually use Pomodoro method. When you are late and the session has started, just take a seat and start working until break time.
- However, feel free to work with how you are most comfortable with. What's important is, we all become accountability buddies.
✨ Notes:
- This a public place so bring your sensory management tools (earphone, stim toys, etc). We can´t control the environment if there are other groups having their activities.
- The Werkräume can't be reserved so we will all help each other by occupying the seats.
- The place has wifi, locker and toilet.
- The space has power plugs, but only in specific areas. Please ensure your devices are charged before coming.
- Food & drink: there is a Bistro but pricey. Feel free to bring your own. IMPORTANT: No eating in the Werkräume. Use the public visitor seating instead.
- Bring a coin for the locker. Security may ask you to store bags in the lockers outside the Werkräume.
- PLEASE EDIT YOUR RSVP if you can't come. This helps us better manage the coworking session. Your update is much appreciated.
- DISCLAIMER: All organizers are volunteers who are neurodivergent individuals. We ask you to be kind to us and for your support in making the event an enjoyable for everyone.

✨ Neurodivergent Speedfriending
Park Gleisdreieck, Schöneberger Straße 16, Eingang zum Park vom U-Bahnhof Gleisdreieck bei Brwhouse, Berlin, DE🌈 This is an event for neurodivergent people who are looking to make new friends.
READ THE EVENT DESCRIPTION below for everyone's comfort.
This is NOT A DATING EVENT.
LOCATION: The meetup map is not acurate, go to this google map link and find the neurodivergent sign:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/u9rygDgU8ADDR6Ec6If the weather is bad, we will reschedule it.
BRING PICNIC BLANKET OR SEATING MAT. We need it to mark the seats on the park.
What to expect
- Rounds: there will be 19 rounds with 5-minutes each (including the seat change). When the bell rings, it's time to switch.
- Instruction: there will be instruction demonstration on how the Speedfriending goes.
- Half time break: 10 minutes break after the 10th rotation
- Total: 1,5 hours (excluding break)
- Latecomers: ask the organizers to be seated. But please come on time to listen to the instruction to avoid confusion.
- Breaks: you can take a break or leave anytime.
- Ice breakers: Each participant gets a sticker to write their names and topics of interest. Each picnic blanket will get stimming toys and conversation cards.
- REPETITION: the event is flexible, hence you will meet the same people at least once.
- After speedfriending hangout: event is officially done and everyone is free to socialize and exchange contact.
What is expected from participants?
- BE KIND AND PATIENT TO THE ORGANIZERS: All hosts are neurodivergent volunteers. Please talk to us kindly and be patient—we are also prone to dysregulation. If you are rude or repeatedly overstep boundaries, we will unfortunately ask you to leave.
- Use your discernment in participating:
- This event means participants will move around and meet many new people in a public area.
- There will be noises from the train passing by.
- There will be noise from other participants. We've spaced out the blankets, but wider gaps aren't possible without making the line too long and unmanageable. - Avoid sensitive topics: such as politics or any topic that should come with a Trigger Warning.
- Respect Boundaries: If someone seems uncomfortable, change the subject. If unsure, ask.
- Respect Time Limits: When the bell rings, please move to the next spot.
- Follow Up Respectfully: only ask for someone's contact at the event, not send DM in Meetup (we've had previous complaints)
- Manage your own comfort: bring food & drinks, bring sensory management tools (eyeglasses, headphones, etc)
✨ We can't wait to see you there and hope you make some amazing new friends. 💬
