Join us for a gorgeous run in green Grünewald and challenge yourself with some hills. Enjoy the view from Drachenberg even more, by knowing you slogged up a steep climb to get to see it!

The route up to the old US listening post Teufelsberg, and its neighbour 'berg, Drachenberg, offers at least a bit of hilly climbing in this otherwise flat city.
The route starts at the car park at Schmetterlingplatz / Eichkampstraße, which is a 3 minute walk from S-Bahn Grünewald. We follow the path to Teufelsee, and then its uphill to Teufelsberg, then down the brick path, before climbing up to Drachenberg. Here we can pause, the top of Drachenberg is one of the best points from which to see the whole city.
Then its steeply down again, and winding through flat woodlands to get back to our start.

Everyone is welcome, but please note that this is not a beginners run. You should be able to do 10k plus comfortably. The aim is to keep going on the uphills - not fast - but aim to keep on running. We'll stop at the hillcrests to make sure everyone is still there.
**I will aim to share a route map here, before the run on Sunday**

If one round is not enough, there is an option to do two! I am trying to build up some core and leg strength in the next months, so this is a good run for anyone looking to do the same!

**Important** There is no bag drop. Please bring water (and snacks) with you if needed, especially if the weather is warm.

**One more thing! Start time is 10.30 not 10.00! Event timing says 2 hours, but this depends on how many rounds we do. There is the option to stop at 10km, or go further!**
