### Feminist March: The Beautiful World of Georgia O’Keeffe - A Watercolour Workshop

This Feminist March, join us for a two-session watercolour workshop inspired by the powerful and poetic world of Georgia O’Keeffe — one of the most influential women artists of the 20th century.

Known for her bold florals, sweeping landscapes, and deeply personal approach to colour and form, O’Keeffe transformed ordinary subjects into extraordinary expressions of strength, softness, and presence. Her work invites us to slow down, look closer, and paint what we feel as much as what we see.

During these two sessions, we’ll read about Georgia’s life and artistic journey, observe her iconic paintings, and explore how she used colour, scale, and flowing shapes to create emotionally rich compositions.

Together, we’ll experiment with watercolour techniques inspired by her style — from soft washes and layered petals to expressive shapes and organic movement. Flowers will take centre stage, but we’ll also play with abstraction and simplified forms, creating our own original pieces inspired by O’Keeffe’s unique vision (never copying, always interpreting).

You’ll be guided step by step as you create your own watercolour artwork, learning how to build depth, work with loose brushstrokes, and let colour lead the way.

✨ No previous experience needed — this workshop is open to beginners and curious creatives alike. Come celebrate creativity, feminine strength, and the beauty of nature through watercolour. We’d love to paint with you.

The workshop includes two classes, but you’re also welcome to join individual sessions (when available).
