September is a special month for Berlin. AWS Community Day DACH is coming to Berlin, and we are thrilled to be hosted by Zalando this month to welcome our regular members, as well as AWS Community from all over Europe!

In this session we explore how tools like AWS DevOps Agent and Kiro are reshaping what SRE work even means: from hunting "bad smells" by hand to AI agents that map dependencies, correlate signals, and pinpoint root causes on their own.
We'll unpack what spec-driven development means for reliability work and, more importantly, how SRE engineers stay valuable when the machines get very good at the on-call job.

Ali is Cloud Engineer at Hyland, where he builds and automates scalable AWS infrastructure for enterprise-grade platforms. He's five-time AWS Community Builder. Passionate about DevOps practices, GitOps workflows, serverless technologies, and designing scalable cloud architectures using IaC.
