Details

An improvised theatre show designed to be understood across languages.
On stage, five languages coexist — English, German, Italian, Spanish & French — within a shared narrative. Clarity doesn’t come by chance: the performance is carefully conceived with a system of clarifications, contextual translations and narrative tools that allow the audience to follow the story, regardless of the languages they speak.
There are no subtitles and no simplifications. Understanding emerges through structure, relationships and emotional dynamics.
Created in Berlin in collaboration with improvisation schools working in their own languages, Berlino Babel reflects a city where many languages meet — and still manage to listen to each other.
An important collaborative project that required many years of work, come and see the result.
Tickets at the box office 10/15 euro.
