Bird Watching Hike: Rieben to Trebbin (23 km)
Details
This hike goes straight through the Nuthe-Nieplitz nature reserve, a bird watching paradise with a boardwalk and watchtowers. So bring your binoculars to spot the eagles!
Around halfway, we'll stop at a café for some food and cake in the village of Stangenhagen.
Continuing uphill along Blankensee with some views on the lake, we enter a little oak wood with some remains of a demolished tycoon's mansion.
After crossing a desert-like peak of Löwendorfer Berge, the hike ends in the town of Trebbin, where trains depart every hour back to Berlin.
Meet us in the first car of the train RE7, departing from
Alexanderplatz station at 10:08 on platform 2 (direction Dessau),
arriving at Michendorf (Mark) at 10:50, then taking the Bus 608 at 11:01 to Rieben (Dorf)
Unless you are subscribed to the Deutschlandticket, you need to buy a ticket to Rieben (Dorf).
